Queen Esther made a heroic stand before the king in the Old Testament. She risked being killed for approaching him without permission, yet did it in faith to save the Jewish nation from annihilation. She knew God was with her, “If I perish, I perish.” As Christians, this should be our attitude! Many of us are persecuted for our actions when God gives us a specific job, but He is always with us. We’ll spend eternity with Jesus, but those who die without knowing Jesus will suffer forever, so let’s keep our eyes on the Lord and help as many as possible to find Jesus while there’s still time.
