Guilty!

Most of us are guilty of ingratitude. We didn’t get something we wanted and feel cheated, even angry. But as Christians, let’s remember that God supplies our needs and blesses us with good things. He watches over us and protects us from bad things and situations we won’t know about until we get to Heaven. When we focus on the goodness of God, His unconditional love for us, and the blessings He’s given us amid this evil world, we can’t help but humble ourselves and say, “Thank you, Lord, for the love and mercies you pour on me every day.”

  1. When we get to Heaven, it won’t matter. Our past will be just that, the past. We will have no thoughts of it because it is sin. Sin does NOT exist in Heaven. We will know others, but not as we knew them. We will not know our parents as our parents. Our neighbor as our neighbor. We will be in the rejoicing and praise mode forever. Perpetual tranquility!

    • Actually, it does matter. Our attitude and what we do now has a big impact on Heaven, both now and when we get there. Yes, all our guilt will be forgotten when we’re there, but while we’re still here on this earth, it’s really important for us and for our relationship with Jesus that we thank Him and praise Him daily for all He’s done and is doing for us.

As well, we WILL be known in Heaven and we we will know others such as our family, friends, and even those we’ve never met. Paul confirms this in 1 Corinthians 15:52. He also says that he’s looking forward to seeing in Heaven the ones he led to Jesus. And, when the disciples were with Jesus one time, they saw Moses and Elijah with the Lord and knew who they were. When we are raptured, our bodies will transform from imperfect to perfect. We will still be us only we’ll be perfect and presentable to stand before the Lord. Praise God!
