Many new Christians are deceived into believing that life will now be like Heaven—prosperous, successful, and with perfect health. But this is NOT what Jesus told us would happen. He said that because we live in a corrupt world that hates God and because we have rebuked the world to follow Him, we WILL have trials and problems. But He also said to give HIM our problems because He is our Lord! Jesus overcame the world and can get us through all of our rough times despite the world. And when we focus on Him, Jesus fills us with His peace and joy because He is our Overcomer!
