Sometimes, we need that special friend to be with us when we feel alone. But friends are hard to find in this world because their love is often conditional. Yet, there is a friend whose love is unconditional—Jesus! He loves us so much that He gave His own life to save ours so we wouldn’t suffer eternal punishment for our sins, and then rose from the grave to make way for us to live with Him forever. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He lives in our hearts, speaks to us through His Word, and will NEVER leave. If you need a friend today, call out to Jesus. He’ll comfort you with His love and peace—and He’s as close as the mention of His name!
