The difference between fake Christians and real ones is like day and night! Those who “try” to be Christians work on their own strength and wisdom based on opinions and produce NO fruit for the Lord. But when we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are new creations and abide IN Him and His Spirit IN us so we become like Him (Galatians 5:22). Jesus is the vine; we are His branches, taken from the old tree and grafted into His. Old desires, habits, and opinions fall away as He fills us with His Truth through His Word. With Jesus, all things are possible; without Him, we are still lost people in a sinful world.
