Many of us come to God in prayer with wrong attitudes and expectations. Prayer isn’t us telling God what to do and how to do it so we get the results WE want. Prayer is submitting to God, giving Him our problems, and trusting HIM to work all things out in His way and timing. We only see what’s in front of us and how it affects us, but God sees the big picture! Sometimes, He allows or even brings situations to us to help us grow our faith in Him. As His children, we want His will in our lives, so we give Him the issues, let Him be God, and then wait expectantly for Him to work all things out for everyone’s good and according to His purpose.
