It’s great to have a friend to share our joys with or help us through rough times, but sadly, they aren’t always here when we need them. But there is a friend who promised never to leave us and who can get us through everything. That Friend is Jesus! No one on earth loves us as He does, and no one has the power to fight our battles like Him. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, talk to Him as a friend about everything, and put all our hope and faith in Him alone, He gives us courage and strength, mingled with His peace, as He works out the details of every situation. Jesus is a Friend for life!
