The last supper Jesus shared with His disciples was a foresight of salvation and judgment. He warned them of His death to prepare them for the horrors they’d face the next day and of His resurrection to give them hope. Jesus, the eternal Son of God, came to earth as a man and died on the cross bearing OUR sins so we’d stand righteous before God rather than face His wrath. Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day because He IS the Son of God, and He IS alive. And if we accept His sacrifice and partake in His supper, we will escape God’s judgment and live with Him forever!
