The day after He cleansed the temple, Jesus returned to preach. He compared the wealthy, self-righteous Pharisees to the lowly sinners who repented and surrendered to God. This angered them because Jesus, a man of no status or wealth, publically rebuked their authority. Many Christians today have the same attitude because of their wealth and social status. But the Truth still stands, and there’s only one way for anyone to get to Heaven: by humbly repenting and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Son of God who came to die on the cross for our sins and give us eternal life!
