It’s not enough to only hear about the good things of God. Teachers and preachers share the Word and instruct us, but it’s not enough to take their word for it and assume they’re right. We can’t act on hearsay. We can’t stand for God or have faith in Him when all we know about Him is what someone tells us. We MUST study the Bible ourselves to know God and spend time in prayer and worship to develop a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus. Then we’ll have peace because we know God is real and His Word is True.
