It seems impossible to be cheerful amid life’s problems, but when we know Jesus, it IS possible. He not only saved us from our sins, but Jesus is now our Lord, who promised to take care of us. He warned us that we’d have problems in this corrupt world and promised to bring us through them when we put our trust in Him. This world is not our home because Jesus has prepared a glorious future for us with Him, and when we focus on Jesus and all He’s done and is doing, we won’t have sorrow—we’ll be happy and strong in the joy of the Lord.
