The Oxford Dictionary defines trust as “belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.” It’s a heartfelt conviction that supersedes emotions. When we hear about Jesus through the Word, God gives us a gift of faith to believe that He is His Son who died for our sins and rose from the grave to give us eternal life. When we accept Jesus as our Savior and study the Bible to know Him, we learn of His love, mercy, and grace, and can trust Him with our whole heart because we believe in Him!
