Words cannot convey the pain we suffer when a loved one dies. The world mourns without hope, but Christians have God’s promise that gives us hope (1 Thes. 4:13-18). If they knew Jesus as their Savior, when the last trumpet sounds, He will raise them up and call us who are alive to join them, and we’ll be together forever. This is a promise for those who love Jesus! Our loved ones who know Him are not dead; they are resting and waiting for the trumpet blast when Jesus will call us Home—and He could call today!
