Many challenge the laws to do things their way and, in their rebellion, create chaos for everyone; others respect the law and submit willingly for the benefit of everyone. When we become Christians, the law is no longer a set of complex rules that we HAVE to follow to keep us from sin because Jesus has cleansed us from all sin. But we still need instruction for this life, so we study the Bible to know Him and willfully submit to His authority by obeying His commandments. It becomes our way of life because we love Jesus, our Savior, and our obedience to Him pleases God and brings peace.
