We’re programmed to believe the cliche, “I can do this.” But NO one has the wisdom, strength, or power to defeat the evil that’s set to destroy us—but God! When we accept Jesus as our Savior, the One who defeated that devil on the cross, He becomes our Lord, and when we study the Bible to know Him and fill up on His Word, He gives us the wisdom, strength, and power through His Word to bring us through our problems. When we are weak and surrender to Him, we become strong in His power and might.
