Worldly joy is a temporal and conditional emotion based on circumstances. Godly joy is an eternal and unconditional state of heart that comes from knowing God’s love for us. As we study the Bible to know Jesus, He becomes our joy and reason for living. He hears and answers our prayers, takes care of us, supplies our needs, and blesses us without sorrow. This evil world can be overwhelming at times, but when we know and love Jesus, HE is our joy and strength ALL the time!
