Christians often speak of faith; few know what it is. It’s not giving money to our church, so God will give us our desires. It’s not a prayer recital that talks God into giving us what we want. Christian faith is knowing God, His will for us, and His promises, and believing that God IS faithful to His Word because He IS the Word! Faith in God ONLY comes when we study the Bible prayerfully because God reveals His truth to us. Faith is believing God and trusting Him despite what we think or see. Everything else is vanity.
