When provoked, many of us speak what’s on our minds—revealing what’s in our hearts. As Christians, we represent Jesus in all we say and do, and when we swear, curse, gossip, or judge others, we’re no different from the world in their eyes. We must study our Bibles to fill up on God’s Words and pray daily for His help so that our words will edify Jesus and not the world. When our hearts and minds are tuned into God, the devil can’t tempt us to say things we shouldn’t, and our words will be acceptable in His sight.
