Darkness is not tangible; it’s the absence of light. We’re surrounded by darkness in this world with no way out because its leader wants to keep us trapped in it with him. Yet, Someone has conquered the darkness and defeated the enemy, and He shines through the darkness and is willing to show us the way out if we will surrender to Him and follow. Jesus IS that Light! He defeated evil and is the ONLY way to overcome the darkness. And it’s HIS birth we rejoice in this Christmas season!
