Religion is believing in “a” god that requires some effort to ensure a prosperous life now and an eternal future. Christianity is NOT a religion; it’s a relationship with Jesus! It’s knowing that God in Heaven is Holy and that through the fall of Adam, we ALL became sinners, eternally separated from Him. It’s knowing that God’s love and mercy for us is so great that He became a man and died on the cross to take our sins away so we could be redeemed to Him. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, our faith is in Him because now we have peace with God and an eternity with Him!
