Benchmarks are critical mandates for all successful businesses. For Christians, our benchmark is the Bible! It’s God’s own words spoken to us (2 Timothy 3:16); they are absolute (Isaiah 40:8) because God NEVER changes (Hebrews 13:8)! This corrupt world is changing, bringing fear and unrest to those who don’t know Jesus, but for us, we have peace and hope in the Lord. He’s faithful to His promises, just in His warnings, and every prophecy to date has been fulfilled exactly as He said. God is our shield and our hope in this dark world.
