Many Christians think they have power over the devil when they yell at him in Jesus’ name. But he’s conniving and powerful, and he knows that Jesus alone has that authority. So he keeps the deception going, knowing that they’ll continue in ignorance to undermine God’s power and feed his thirst for glory. But God never told us to speak to the devil! God told us to submit to HIM by studying the Bible to know Him and filling our minds with knowledge and wisdom. Our weapon against the devil is God’s Word—our sword—and when we know Jesus and speak the Word in faith, we give God glory, and the devil runs!
