Too often, we rush through today because our focus is on tomorrow—what we’ll do, where we’ll go, or who we’ll see. We miss out on what we have today in anticipation of something we hope will come later. But this is the only day we have, and though we must make plans, let’s not be so focused on tomorrow that we ignore this day God gave us. As Christians, let’s rejoice today in our salvation and the good things God has done and is doing for us. Let’s pray for others, help those in need, tell the lost about Jesus, and praise God for His love and mercy—because today is all we have; tomorrow may never come.
