Society has always consisted of the rich and controlling and the poor and meek. Years ago, the rich were known as lords. If you were born into a family owned by a lord, you were that lord’s property. We have all been born into this evil world, owned and ruled by its lord, the devil. But Jesus bought us with His own blood, and when we accept Him as our Savior, HE becomes the Lord who owns us and takes care of us. Our words, actions, and appearance should glorify Him because we are citizens of HIS kingdom now.
