Many come to Jesus and accept His salvation because they know He’s the Lord who saved them from their sins. But most don’t go beyond the initial prayer and live life expecting God to bless them. It’s selfish for Christians to assume they now deserve His gifts when they don’t read the Bible to know God or understand His ways and plans for us. We must humble ourselves and seek God to know and love Him as He loves us. As we grow in the knowledge and love of God, His Spirit in us draws us close to Him so we can do His will and share His love with others!
