Love is the defining virtue of the heart. It’s why Jesus came to earth and took the punishment for our sins—He loved us THAT much! He didn’t consider His own humility in leaving His throne in Heaven or the barbaric torture He’d suffer on the cross to set us free of sin and redeem us to God, our Father. God raised Jesus from the grave, and He’s back on His throne, waiting for us to join Him. When we accept what Jesus has done for us and follow Him, He gives us His Spirit so we can rejoice in the Truth and love others as He loves us!
