A frightened child will run to their parents for safety. As Christians, we run to God, our Heavenly Father, because we know we’re safe with Him. When we accepted Jesus as our Savior, it was a very personal commitment; He gave us His Spirit and adopted us into God’s family, making us God’s children—and God our Father. We can cry out to Him, “Abba Father,” because He IS our Father, our Daddy, the One who loves us and WILL help us! And there is nothing that can separate us from His love.
