Many of us go through life collecting material possessions and building nest eggs for our retirement. We forget that we live in a corrupt world where “things” don’t last and that when we get old, we won’t care about them anymore anyway. As Christians, we must stop trying to succeed in this fallen world and start focusing on our eternal future! Our labor now shouldn’t be for material possessions but for eternal treasures—the souls we’ll bring to Jesus. The reward of our labor for the Lord will be our greatest joy when we see the ones we love there with us!
