It’s hard to trust someone we don’t know, someone we’ve only heard about. But when we meet the person and develop a close friendship with them, it’s easy to trust them. It’s the same with Jesus; if we don’t know Him personally, we won’t have faith in Him to trust Him. Yet, when we meet Him, He becomes our Savior, and as we study the Scriptures, we learn that He’s also our Lord who blesses us and protects us; someone we can trust.
