The Bible tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and ask God for whatever we need. We can do that because we are covered in the blood of Jesus and God’s Spirit is in us. Isaiah 53:5 says that by His stripes we were healed, and so as His followers, we are able to ask God to heal us. Jesus has told us to come to Him, to cast our burdens onto Him and to believe Him that He will heal us. So, let’s not be captivated by the downside of illness around us; let’s rejoice because God is faithful and means what He says. God is good!
