One of the joys of being a believer in Christ is knowing that we can run to God at any time, for anything no matter how great or insignificant our troubles may seem. God is our refuge and He welcomes us to come to Him because He knows that we cannot defeat the devil on our own. And we know that HE defeated the devil at the cross! He IS our shield who we can hide behind when the attacks come. God is faithful and we WILL see how He protects us when we put our trust in Him.
