God is good: see Him working through people

The world has suffered many natural disasters and it’s truly amazing to watch people put aside all their personal views and opinions and bond together to help the victims in these horrific events.

I invite you visit the blog on the right about the Haiti relief. CNN news has set everything out clearly about the damage that was incurred, the suffering people and the help that is on its way from thousands of caring people.

If you think that people don’t care about people any more, sadly you have misjudged the hearts of many people.

God is alive in this world and He’s working through caring people to help people in need. He did not cause the disasters but He’s right there in the midst helping to restore the lives of hurting victims.

Why did He cause the disasters in the first place?  God did not cause the disasters.  Remember years ago in the Garden of Eden when Adam disobeyed God and ate from the forbidden try? Remember what happened when he did that? He broke the bond between man and God with sin, and ever since that day sin has reigned in this world and it’s powerful and it’s deadly and it’s everything that God wanted to prevent.

But, it happened and now the only way God can communicate with people is when they accept that Jesus took their sins and that they are now sinless before God. Because God is holy and cannot be in the presence of anything unholy – no matter how much He loves you.

God is alive and has YOU in His big plans.

So, smile because God loves you!

Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!

    • Thank you for your encouraging words, Eunice. You are so right; Jesus IS in control and we all have to remember that or else we become defeated. But when we study the Bible and stand together and share our issues with each other, we are made strong because where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst.[Matthew 18:20]
