We all know people whose goal in life is to break us. They mock us, gossip about us, and go out of their way to anger us. We begin to hate them until we see things through God’s eyes and remember that before we knew Jesus, we did these things to God, and He didn’t hate us. He loved us despite our attitude and died a brutal death on the cross to save us anyway. He’s not asking us to die for our enemies but to love them with the same passion that He loved us so they can see God in us and know His love.
