If we don’t know how to bake a cake, we’d find a good recipe, study it, and follow its instructions. In the same way, if we don’t know how to be a Christian, we must go to the book that teaches us—the Bible—so we can know God and submit to His instructions. As we continue to study, we understand that God’s ways and timing are not like ours and that we must be patient and wait on Him because He is faithful and WILL fulfill His promises.
