As Christians, nothing secures our day more than seeking God’s guidance when we first wake up. When “we” determine what we’ll do and where we’ll go, we put ourselves ahead of the Lord. Our first words of the day should be a greeting to the Lord, giving Him praise and thanks for loving us and giving us a new day. Then we ask HIM to lead us so HIS will would be done, and we ask Him to watch over us and give us wisdom and strength to do all He has set before us. We’ll still have challenges, but we’ll overcome them because we’re following the Lord, who we’ve set before us!
