Sometimes, we face things that we don’t want to do because we know at the onset that it will cause us some hardship and a lot of stress. But as Christians, we know we are His disciples, and our job is to tell people about Jesus. So we pray about it and ask God for His will to be done and for Him to lead us and give us strength, wisdom, and peace. God promised He’d never give us anything we couldn’t handle when we surrender everything to Him and let Him live through us (1 Corinthians 10:13). We might not want to do it at first, but Jesus will give us all we need to do it well.
