A house built on sand will quickly be destroyed when storms come, but a house built on rock will stand (Matthew 7:24-27). When we become Christians, our foundations change from sand to rock, from lies to Truth. Then we need to build on that foundation, and to do that, we have to study the Scriptures daily to know Jesus and get His Truth into our hearts. The more we study, the more solid our house becomes! Then, when the storms of this world come against us, we won’t be destroyed because our house is built on THE rock, who is Jesus, our Lord!
