On this day years ago, Jesus made His humble entrance into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey. Crowds gathered around and laid psalm branches before Him because they believed He was God’s chosen king for Israel. In the week that followed, Jesus wept for Jerusalem, preached the Oliver Discourse, cursed the fig tree, raised Lazarus from the dead, held the Passover with His Disciples, was brutally hanged on the tree for our sins, and rose from the grave to give us eternal life. Today we celebrate the fulfillment of many Bible prophecies, and give thanks, praise, and honor to Jesus, our King!
