As we close out this year, many of us will reflect on memories of despair, hurt, sorrow, and anger from issues this past year has caused. But we have to remember that this world no longer follows God and is bringing about its own doom—and we are NOT part of this world. We are God’s children, so let’s not look back with sorrow but instead look forward with joy to what God has for us today, in the year to come, and throughout eternity. Let’s rejoice despite what’s going on in our lives and around us and keep our hearts filled with hope and faith in Jesus—because in Him we are blessed!
