Do you know the good news that the angel gave to the shepherds that starry night so many years ago? He told them that God’s promise to save them from their sins was about to be fulfilled, that Mary was going to give birth to God’s Son, the promised Savior! The shepherds rejoiced because they loved God and had waited for this very day to come. Jesus was a perfect child, born into this world with humility, and then gave His life on the cross as a young man to save ours. He returned to Heaven, but He’s coming back soon, only this time as a warrior and a King who will rule the earth, and the world will finally be at peace!
