When a tailor makes an outfit for us, and we discover later that there’s an issue with it, we don’t take it to a baker or a mechanic to have it repaired—we take it back to the tailor. In the same way, God has created us, and Jesus told us that when we have issues, we should go to Him. We are to cast our burdens onto Him and ask Him for anything, and He’ll do it for us. Jesus will heal us, lead us, and supply all of our needs. Jesus wants us to go to Him FIRST because He is our Lord, and lords care for their citizens. He may heal us miraculously or send someone across our path to treat us, but it’s God who heals us! He is OUR Creator and the One who cares for us. God is good.

Jesus loves YOU and wants to be your Lord and Savior and take of you! He’s as close as the mention of His name.
