When we are hired by a successful company, we submit to its authority, agree to follow its protocol, and work for its purpose. We are EXPECTED to read, accept, and follow the company’s mandate and not abuse our position for our own personal gain. It’s the same when we become a Christian: we accept Jesus as our Savior AND our LORD, and we submit to His authority and for His glory. We study the Bible diligently to get His truth and purpose in our hearts and minds and don’t abuse our position as His child for our own purposes. We follow Jesus! He is at our right hand—which means Jesus is the leader! Then nothing can move us because our eyes are on our Jesus, not on the world around us!
