The Bible tells us that the pure in heart will see God, but it also says that no one can look upon His face and live. There’s a day coming—and very soon—when Jesus will take us to Heaven and present us to our Father, and we WILL see His face then. But God has provided a way now for us to know His heart and come into His presence. He’s given us His Scriptures to study and learn everything we can about Him. As we read prayerfully, our hearts fill up with His truth, and the lies of the world fall away. The more we read, the closer to God we get, and the purer our hearts become as we look forward to that day in Heaven when our eyes will behold His glory.
