If we could close our eyes and see Jesus hanging and dying on the cross for OUR sins and then watch His soul get dragged into hell as a punishment for those sins, we’d be in tears. If we could see God raise Him out of hell and back to life, declaring His victory over sin and death, and then watch as the angels take Him back to Heaven, we’d rejoice! We’d thank Him endlessly for sparing us from God’s wrath that is coming soon upon this sinful world, and we’d praise Him joyfully for the Home He’s prepared for us in Heaven. When His salvation becomes a reality in our hearts, we’ll know the truth, we’ll sense His presence, and we won’t be able to contain our praises as we wait for Him to call us Home.
