Today is the first day of the new year, and we are finally free of the old year that burdened us with sorrows and confusion and chaos. It was a year that many people sought God for help and when many found salvation through it all; perhaps this is what God had intended. Regardless, let’s not fret over what happened last year; let’s thank God for today and look forward to what He will do this year! Let’s pray like never before and share His love and grace as much as we can so that others will look to Jesus for the blessed hope that keeps our hearts alive with peace and joy.
