God loves to bless His children with gifts and they can be material possessions, but these are limited to this world; God wants to make us rich in every area of our life for eternity! We are His children and God wants us to excel in the fruits of His Spirit, and in knowledge and wisdom. He wants our faith in Him to be strong so He can make a way for us in life where there is no way. Material possessions were what the children of Israel cherished in the Old Testament to know that God loved them. But for us today, we have the Scriptures, and the more we study them and the more time we spend with God in prayer and worship, the closer our relationship becomes with Him and the more blessings we will receive. Then we can be more like Jesus as we lead others into the Kingdom of God.
