When we surrender to Jesus and make Him our Lord and Savior, we are redeemed back to God our Father and the angels in Heaven rejoice. God is happy because one more person has been saved from the clutches of the devil and can have a relationship with Him as a child has with their father. The love that God has for us is greater than any love we’ve ever known, and His mercies toward us are everlasting. We know that God is to be feared because He is Almighty and will soon judge and punish this evil world; it’s the plan from the beginning. But when we come back to Him through the salvation of Jesus, we are spared of that judgment and instead, we’ll spend eternity with Him in glory. This is God’s greatest joy for us, His children.
