Checking our Attitude

Most of us have been in situations where people have been rude or cold or non-caring, and we’ve reacted negatively towards them because of their attitude. But perhaps, if we could step back and swallow our pride, we might realize that it’s our attitude towards them that needs correcting. The one who has offended us might just be a rude person, or it could be someone who’s going through a bad time or has been deeply hurt by someone they trusted, or is now facing or has been enduring for a long time struggles beyond their own abilities. Perhaps, instead of judging them, we should love them as Jesus loves us because then, they just might see God in us and find that hope they’ve been searching for. Jesus loved us when we were that person, and we should love them with the same compassion. God is good.
