It’s difficult at times to want to be nice to people who enjoy living in sin and even treat us badly because of it. But we must never forget that Jesus loved US and died for OUR sins while we were still deep in rebellion. He didn’t turn away or even hesitate; He gave His life to save ours because Jesus knew that sin had a hold on us and that His salvation was the only hope we had to be saved from it. When we can look at others and see that they…just as we were before we received Jesus…are still caught in the traps of the enemy, then perhaps we can be more like Jesus and love them anyway, pray for them and treat them as Jesus has treated us. Truly, His love conquers all sin and our lives need to be a testimony to that truth. God is good.
