Salvation is the beginning of our new life because our sins are washed away and the Spirit of God comes to live inside us, but we still live in a corrupt world and we are still continually tempted and influenced by sin. God does not want us to live a defeated life or to fall back into the clutches of the evil one, so He’s given us His words of instructions in the Bible for us to study. We need to feast on them daily because they are food for our souls, and give us the strength and wisdom to shine His light in this dark world and share His love and saving grace to the lost.
